Hello Everyone! This is Sophie speaking. I was kind of bored so I thought I would jump online and let you know how my weekend has been going. If you didn't hear, mommy's brother Jared got married today, so mommy left on a plane to Nebraska Thursday and won't be home until Sunday night. I couldn't believe my own mommy would leave me all alone with my daddy like that, but she did... It's alright though, we've been dealing with her absence ok. In fact, today went really well:

First daddy dressed me:

Then dad fed me breakfast:

Then dad let me drive into town all by myself:

So, as you can see, me and dad have had a pretty good weekend...good food, great entertainment, and not even a problem with diaper rash. However, I'm totally ready for mom to come home. As much as dad tries to be cool, he doesn't even compare to my mom. She is the perfect mother. She always knows what I need, she is always completely patient with me (and with daddy), and she always feeds me as soon as I get hungry in the middle of the night (unlike dad who requires me to scream loudly for at least 10 minutes just to get him to wake up). So come home soon mom, I miss you!!!

That's pretty funny. I guess that is what happens when you leave dads alone with the children! :)

haha Sophie, well I know how hard the past few days must have been... I've been left all alone with your father also! But he has a good heart. I must say my favorite pic would have to be with you in the glasses! ha Good times..

Dear Sophie- I hope you blog more because you have a great sense of humor. I was laughing pretty hard. Good luck with your indigestion. :)

Hey Sophie, most kids don't get to have a weekend as great as that until they are in their late teens. Mommy thought about you several times a day. She would get all sentimental grab her little plastic toy and head for the bathroom for some alone time. :-) You sure are a cutie!!!

Too cute! Good luck to baby and daddy. It's tough without a mommy to take care of you. :)

Way fun and creative Dustin! I can't imagine leaving lydia still. Don't think I could do it, and not just because I think I would miss her. I would be afraid of what would happen to her being alone with Chris! She drives him crazy, he isn't use to the shadow!

Wow potato chips? My husband usually dumps golffish crackers on the floor and lets the kids find sippy cups of rancid milk. I love the dewrag. Come home soon Mommy!
