Let’s be honest. Having 3 kids ages 4 and under isn’t always a picnic. In fact leaving the house is an event. That being said…we don’t really get out to do much most of the time. Someone is always either napping or eating and let’s face it, it’s easier to stay home. But when we do get out we always love it.
This particular evening we went for a “hike.” Which for us amounts to a small walk up in the canyon. We happened to be up by the Bountiful LDS Temple, and with my love for light and photography I knew I couldn’t pass up the chance to capture this awesome shot. I love it. I want to get a nice big canvas print of it and hang it in my house. I just need to figure out which room I’d hang it in first.
So back to our hike. Dustin had Jack attached to his front side, and at one point had Kyla hanging off his back. It was quite an adventure for a non-adventurous family. I shouldn’t say we aren’t adventurous, that wouldn’t be fair, because Dustin is. He’s even been skydiving. I on the other hand, am not adventurous at all. Kyla inherited that from me. She’s scared of everything, poor kid. I really feel bad that I passed that on.
