Over the Hills We Go

Yes, I am pregnant, sorry for any confusion. :) I am due the 10th of June , so I am almost half way (I think. I haven't been to a doctor yet, Friday is my first time) woo-hoo!! I have been ignoring the fact that I am pregnant as much as possible(not because I don't want the baby or it wasn't planned or anything), it seems to be helping it go by pretty quick. I would like a boy this time, just so I can see the differences... and he'll be tougher so he can handle Sophie beating him up, but I will be more than happy with another girl too.

Here is where you can get angry with us...we aren't going to find out what we are having. We didn't with Sophie, and it was fun! I could give a million other little reasons for not finding out (nothing medical of course, just opinion), but I won't bore you. You can find out with your children and that's great, it's just something we like to not do. I think it's a boy, and Dustin thinks it's a girl (it was the exact opposite last time around).

I am feeling fine, just growing pains every now and again. My belly popped out just last night (I kid you not!). Which I was hoping wouldn't happen for a little longer, but hey, it's my second baby, it was bound to happen sooner.

Ok, now that you've had your pregnancy update and questions answered...onto the real post

On New Years day we spent time with my side of the family. We took the girls sledding, and while her cousins were having a blast Sophie was indifferent (go figure). I took pictures most of the time, because that's what I like to do, but Dustin did get me to go down with him a few times.
After we'd had enough of the snow we had homemade hot cocoa at my sisters....yum!
Anyway, here are some photos!Dustin rode down the hill on the baby sled, and totally biffed it at the bottom. He thought it was funny, but Sophie just cried when it happened.

Grandma Vickie going down the hill with Hannah. Hannah isn't a fan of sleds, but really enjoyed going down on her bum.Mike and Steph

This is the shot of Sophie looking the most pleased, which isn't much. She just stared with that famous blank stare the rest of the time.

Cute girls! Sledding looks like fun. We haven't gone yet because we don't have a sled. Go figure. Maybe next Christmas?

My baby is due the day after yours, so I guess the race is on. And you are lucky your belly just barely popped out. Mine's been visible for a month now. I'm already in maternity pants. At least I don't have to buy a whole new wardrobe this time. :)

You could almost lose sophie in the snow with her cute white coat. Good for you for being adventurous and not finding out if you are having a boy or a girl. I honestly couldn't do it, I guess I like naming and picturing the baby before they arrive. It seems more real to me I guess. I was right both times with what I was having. It was totally different with having a boy or a girl. So that could maybe give you a clue. And when James would kick it would make me jump and really catch me off guard versus lydia it was just a sweet kick. Hope you are feeling well and not too sick.

Congrats on the new addition! I think that is really fun that you don't find out the gender. I'm voting for a boy. I love the pictures, what cute little girls.

It's a good thing I read yours and Stephanie's blogs! I'm so excited for you and glad that you don't find out. We didn't find out what we were having either and it made our families crazy, especially Brian's mom. You go girl!

Congrats! I hope everything goes smoothly. Sledding looked great! I'm not the biggest fan either, I'm mostly not a fan of the cold. Here's wishing you the best of luck with everything.
