The Mother of All Mother's Rooms

The first time I walked into the Mother's room in our church building I was expecting maybe 3-4 chairs. When I turned the corner I saw this and almost laughed out loud! 12 chairs! It's the greatest thing in the world, and amazingly most chairs are filled most of the time. Gotta love the married student wards.

haha, I hadn't imagined it that way! holy cow, Us poor Rigby folk..we've never seen such a sight!! Maybe it's a good thing I don't have one of those, I'd want to go party in there instead of Sunday School

You know what is more funny than there being 12 chairs in the mothers room? That you took a picture of the mothers room...haha!

A friend shared this and I'm still in shock. Our chapel in Rexburg had a closet of a mothers room with two chairs stuffed in and sometimes two more folding metal chairs and the changing table. I may have sat on the floor at once. The window didn't open and there was no cooling in there only heat. We'd prop doors open to get air but still, this room looks like paradise! Wow.

That is hilarious! I love it. I think my ward needs at least three more chairs. We are always battling it out to see who gets the good seat (there is one cushioned rocker and two plastic chairs). It's like finding a parking spot in Salt Lake.

Wow! Very envious right now. Ours has 2 rockers and that's all that will really fit in our Mother's closet room. If it's full we just do laps around the building until a spot opens up. What building do you go to in Rexburg?
