Some REALLY Good News

I know I still need to post about Sophie's Birthday, which was last week, but Dustin has the pictures on his laptop that he is currently using. But I am dying to blog about this good news...

If you read earlier then you know that Dustin has been in recruiting season here. The Accounting firms do all interviewing about a year in advance for jobs and internships. It has been a crazy semester so far, Dustin had lots of events (which I went to with him), interviews, and several second interviews too. He drove to Salt Lake five times in two weeks...not a fun drive from the valley.
Dustin really wanted to start his career working for one of the "BIG FOUR." If you are unfamiliar with who the "BIG FOUR" are, they are the top four accounting firms in the nation. Starting your career with one of them opens a lot of doors down the road for really good jobs.
Well....
We got a call back one night, letting us know that Dustin was officially being offered a JOB (not an internship) with the #1 firm in the nation!!!!! (according to Business Week)
He's amazing! So, naturally, we are accepting it, and he'll start when he is finished with his Master's degree. The firm is Deloitte, and he'll be working in Salt Lake City. We are both so excited, we can hardly wait. Dustin really liked the people at the firm, and I really liked everyone I met too. I am so proud of him, he's such an amazing man! Yay Dustin!
