This is the fountain at a wedding that I shot last Saturday. I captured it with a very fast shutter speed to freeze the drips in mid air. I love how it looks like rain. fun!
Blogging has definitely taken the back burner in life right now. I apologize in advance, since this will be a long post.Sophie is now 11 months old, and she's so much fun. I used to help her touch her "touch-and-feel" books, but now she takes my finger and rubs it on the texture. Adorable. Sophie had a record number of steps yesterday, 13 (in a row) to be exact! She finally learned how to clap two days ago (we tried to teach her before, she's just too stubborn to let us move her arms.) She has a fake laugh, which also sounds like a fake cough, it's my favorite. She will join in laughing with us. She loves peas, and won't eat beans anymore. Cold cereal for breakfast is her all time favorite meal of the day. I love that little girl!
Dustin is in the thick of recruiting season here. Every week he has some event that he will (or we) go to. He meets the firms, puts in an application for either a job or an internship, and sets up interview times. It's been fun, and hopefully something comes of it all. I'll keep you updated...
I have been busy, very busy, taking pictures and editing shoots. I come up on the first page of "Google" if you are looking for a photographer in my area. Dustin somehow got me on there, he's amazing. I feel very blessed to be able to do what I love, and still be a mom. Even though sometimes I wish that the only thing I did was mom stuff... but it's good to have a hobby :)
These frames are what Dustin and I put together this last week. His Aunt Nicci supplied the supplies... I painted them... Dustin put the plexi-glass in place... and I glued the embellishments on. I like them... although I kind of wish I had painted them white. I don't know why, but I do. (pardon the angle... I was trying to get a shot without a glaring light that was reflecting from across the room...and I was too lazy to go cover the mirror with something.)

So, you said it was going to be a long blog. I was expecting more after the picture shots. Oh well, I'll take whatever you are willing to put out there. :0) Love you and your cute family.
By the way, I think the picture frames look great painted black. They don't blend into the wall.
Hugs
